Confinancing Source: Clean Energy Fund under the Clean Energy Financing Partnership Facility

Project Description

The proposed TA is designed to provide direct support for the implementation of the GMS Road Map for Expanded Cooperation in the Energy Sector, which was adopted by the 15th GMS Ministerial Meeting in June 2009. The proposed project supports sustainable economic growth which is the core strategic area of ADB's Long Term Strategic Framework, LTSF (2001-2015). The project complements all of the LTSF-s cross-cutting themes of promoting the private sector-s role in development, supporting regional cooperation and integration for development and addressing environmental sustainability. The TA is part of the approved GMS Regional Cooperation Operations Business Plan (RCOBP, 2010-2012).
