Project Description

Recognizing the links between connectivity and the potential spread of HIV, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) implemented Regional Technical Assistance (RETA) 6467, co-financed by the Government of Australia (DFAT) and the Cooperation Fund for Fighting HIV/AIDS in Asia and the Pacific under the Health Financing Partnership Facility, administered by the ADB. The RETA supported HIV prevention programs in ADB-supported infrastructure projects during pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases. The RETA also contributed to the production and dissemination of knowledge products on HIV transmission among target populations in infrastructure projects. The RETA was implemented from June 2008 to December 2012, and extended until 31 December 2014.
