4th Environment Ministers' Meeting: Joint Ministerial Statement



The 4th Environment Ministers' Meeting was held in Nay Pyi Taw, Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 29 January 2015.

In their joint statement, the environment leaders from the six countries of the Greater Mekong Subregion called for stronger partnerships to raise awareness and generate information about natural assets, to coordinate and finance initiatives to safeguard them, and to develop ways of ensuring that sustainability considerations inform policy, planning and investment decisions.
