GMS-2030 Kunming Strategic Framework for Transformation of Agrifood Systems

The Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) is characterized by rapid economic growth, rich biodiversity, and a strong reliance on agriculture for livelihoods. Agriculture remains the backbone of the GMS economies, employing a large portion of the population and contributing substantially to the national Gross Domestic Product especially in less industrialized countries.

The 19th Annual Meeting of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Working Group on Agriculture (WGA) featured the theme "Adaptation of Greater Mekong Subregion Agriculture in the context of Climate Change, and the Water-Food-Energy (WFE) Nexus." It was held ​in-person in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, and via videoconference on 21–23 June 2022.
