One Health in the GMS: Where are We Now and Where Next?

The Asian Development Bank, in partnership with the Nossal Institute for Global Health at the University of Melbourne, is organizing a virtual Greater Mekong Subregion meeting entitled, “One Health in the GMS: Where are we now and where next?” on 3 June 2021 via video conferencing.  

The meeting will discuss examples of One Health work that has been performed to date in the GMS, share lessons learned in the use of a One Health approach across countries and sectors, and identify priority next steps. Invited participants come from a range of sectors, including public health, agriculture and environment, climate change and urban planning across GMS countries. The meeting is supported by the technical assistance “Strengthening Regional Health Cooperation in the GMS.”
